Michelle Taylor moved to the Hudson Valley during the summer of 1998. Originally from Westchester County, she calls the Hudson Valley home with her husband and family in Ulster County’s, Wallkill, NY.
As far back as she can remember, Michelle has always wanted to ‘be on the radio’. Entertainment is in her blood; Michelle’s grandfather was the host of ‘Coy’s Corner’ on WNBC-AM in the 1940’s. Given the gift of gab, she set her sights on communications training and development and received her start in radio in 1993 on WEBK-FM/105.3 in Killington, Vermont as co-host for a female morning show. After co-hosting the show and wearing the news director hat for five years, Michelle wanted to come home to her New York State roots.
When she arrived home, Michelle worked for WRNN-TV as their Bureau Chief for the Fairfield / Westchester / Rockland Bureau. Following this task, it was time for Michelle to get back into radio. She became the part-time board-op for ‘The Cat’ on 96.1 / 98.5. With many hours and days of commitment, dedication and fortitude, Michelle moved up through Clear Channel Communications, now iHeartRadio, running the Promotions Department for four years before being named Program Director of LITE 92.1, in addition to Director of Community Relations. She also held down a full-time air shift.
With just a brief hiatus, Michelle returned to iHeart Radio in 2011, to Q92.1 / WRNQ-FM, Poughkeepsie, NY’s morning show, featuring “Joe and Michelle in The Morning” with Joe Daily. Michelle also hosted mid-days on 102.3 / WSUS-FM, Sussex, NJ.
In May of 2022, Michelle joined Neversink Media Group. She can now be heard weekdays, on WDLC Country 95.3FM / 107.7FM from 6:00am – 10:00am and shortly after, on the Hudson Valley’s Hometown Station on the Job, WALL Radio, from 10:00am – 3:00pm, www.WALLradio.com for signals.
She heads Taylor Entertainment, a voice-over service, and is an Ordained Minister. Her favorite sports to play are Golf and Pickleball and is involved with many Hudson Valley organizations. Michelle and her husband became members the amazing team of volunteers at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts.
