Second Annual Flavors of the World Christmas Market

Saint Augustine’s Parish in Highland is excited to announce that it will be holding its Second Annual Flavors of the World Christmas Market from Saturday, December 7 through Sunday, December 8 at St Augustine’s School, 35 Philips Avenue in Highland.

 This event will feature authentic cuisines from 18 countries from around the globe.  These foods will include, but are not limited to: Turkish, Ghanaian, Peruvian, Jamaican, Japanese, Thai, Hungarian, and Italian. The dessert café will feature a variety of tempting delicacies, including our signature item:  internationally themed cream puffs.  In addition, DJ Tony Flash will be spinning favorite tunes and hosting trivia.

The hallways will be lined with a variety of crafters, artisans, and purveyors of sweet treats.  There will be a kids’ activities room featuring an assortment of exciting games with prizes.  Santa will make a special appearance on Saturday from 3pm-5pm and Sunday from 1pm-3pm. The One More Time Thrift Shop will be open for the entirety of the event featuring an array of Flash Sales. 

 Get into the Christmas Spirit with the nostalgic Nutcracker Party performance, featuring dancers and choreography from Madeline’s Dance Center on Saturday at 2pm.

 We have partnered with Ulster County Community Action to host a Toy Drive to provide gifts for local children in need. There will be a collection box at the event.  For every donated toy, receive a free ticket for our wreath raffle.  As this is a fundraiser, we will be having a wreath raffle and 50/50 each day.
