Northeast Watercolor Society Reception at SUNY Orange

Saluting the Northeast Watercolor Society (NEWS) is the title of the show which Cultural Affairs at SUNY Orange is producing mid-January through mid-March. A total of 93 paintings are displayed in this show. The venue is Orange Hall Gallery, at SUNY Orange, Middletown, where NEWS members’ shows have been displayed during the past twenty years.
Highlighting this show, Saluting NEWS, are artworks by nine of the originators and well-known artists of the NEWS art organization. In addition, twenty-nine artists are showing their works.
The Reception with the art demonstration, Using photo reference to tell your story effectively in Watercolor, is now scheduled on Sunday, February 16 from 1 to 4:15pm. The demo starts at 2:30pm.
Lively music will be provided by Geoff Hamburg, pianist.
