Van is no stranger to the Hudson Valley, spending time at WKIP, WJJB, WRNQ and WGNY over his lengthy radio career! A former night club singer, Van started his radio career in Johnstown, NY and then went on to the legendary WPTR in Albany before moving to Walden in 1978. With the exception of a 5 year stint at The Golf Channel in Orlando, Florida where he was the voice of the PGA Tour, Van has remained a Hudson Valley resident. Van runs his own voice over business with clients including The MTA in NYC, where he produces the announcements you hear on trains and in Grand Central Terminal and Penn station. He also voiced the Disaster ride for Universal Studios in Orlando.
In his spare time Van enjoys playing golf, skiing and spending time with his wife Barbara and his 3 kids, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
