Monday – Friday 3:00pm to 7:00pm
Jim Frey was born sometime in the last century, and interestingly began his broadcasting career in that same era. While his father continuously pushed him to get a job, his mother (a softer person) always believed he would someday amount to something. Neither parent saw their hopes materialize. Itinerant and iconoclastic, Jim manned the mic at 10 radio stations in the Hudson Valley and the Southern U.S., reaching highs (awards for creative radio commercials) and lows (fired! and otherwise dumped,) along with a middle period as a corporate sales trainer. Because, as Woody Allen once said, “those that can’t do, teach.” So, to the surprise of almost everyone, Jim has found himself back on WALL Radio, the Drive Time personality from 3 to 7 PM weekdays. He says, “I’m not what I used to be, but who is?” He shares stories of human interest along with some of his own, including WALL Radio history, memories of his long association with the Hudson Valley’s hometown station, dating back to….the last century.
