The Huntington’s Disease Society of America’s Team Hope Walk

The Huntington’s Disease Society of America’s (HDSA) Northeast Region will be hosting the Team Hope Walk – Hudson Valley, NY, on Saturday, October 28th at 10:00 AM, at Walkway Over the Hudson 87 Haviland Road, Highland, NY. It will be a day of family, food and fun for all ages, that will allow participants and supporters to come together, share stories, and learn more about Huntington’s disease and the vital work being done by HDSA.
Huntington’s disease is a fatal genetic disease that affects the nerve cells in the brain that is described as having ALS, Parkinson’s, and Alzheimer’s disease all at once. Today, there are approximately 41,000 symptomatic Americans and more than 200,000 at risk of inheriting the disease.
