2022 Winter Workshops Hosted by Orange County Master Gardener Volunteers

Middletown – Learn something new and shake off your cabin fever with a series of savory and sweet in-person programs hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County Master Gardener Volunteers.

Please join us at two upcoming programs at 18 Seward Avenue, Middletown, N.Y. with Orange County Senior Master Gardener Volunteer Joe Gregoire. Joe will present Shiitake Mushroom Cultivation on Saturday, January 29 from 10:00 to 11:30 A.M. and Backyard Maple Syrup on Saturday, February 26 from 10:00 – 11:30 A.M.  Attendance is limited, so please register early to avoid disappointment.

Joe and his wife have a small farm in Westtown, started in 2016, where they grow hops for local breweries, mushrooms for local restaurants, and produce maple syrup for family and friends.

During this difficult time, pricing is available on a sliding scale. There is a fee of $10 per participant or $0 fee solidary pricing for those impacted by the pandemic.
