Holiday “Take and Make” Workshops

“Take and Make” Wreath, Kissing Ball and Tabletop Tree Workshops on December 4th with the
Master Gardener Volunteers of Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County
Middletown, NY – Want to brighten your home with festive greenery for the cooler days ahead? Join the Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County Master Gardener Volunteers as they guide you through a step-by-step virtual demonstration on how to craft your own unique wreath, kissing ball or tabletop tree. The included materials kit will provide everything you need to create the perfect gift or display piece using live greens, colorful ribbons, and sparkling ornaments. This is a delightful activity with family or friends that you can do together or at a safe social distance. All you need is your creativity and some clippers!
Please join our team of Master Gardener Volunteers Friday, December 4th for one or more live Zoom workshops hosted by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Orange County. Each Zoom session will begin with a demonstration, then attendees will work together in small Zoom groups with a Master Gardener Volunteer to create their selected project. Both day and evening sessions are available for the wreath, kissing ball and tabletop tree. Participants can pick up the materials for this project at Cornell Cooperative Extension in Middletown or at the Newburgh Armory Unity Center on December 2nd and December 3rd. Both day and evening pickup times are available and your preferred pickup time can be selected upon registration.
Pre-registration is required no later than Friday, November 13 and the fee is $40 per attendee/session or $36 for Gardening in Orange County subscribers. Registration for each project is limited to the first 30 persons. Once registered, you will receive a confirmation and a subsequent email with the Zoom link for the class and instructions for picking up materials.
