Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County Plans
Virtual Programs for Parents & Caregivers in 2021
Middletown, NY – As we continue to remain physically distanced, Cornell Cooperative Extension Orange County will be offering a variety of virtual programs for parents and caregivers, as well as for professionals and the community at large. “Thanks to the dynamic nature of these programs, participants can expect to feel engaged and walk away with practical ideas that can easily be implemented in real life” says Julika von Stackelberg, Family & Community Resilience Educator at CCE Orange County.
On January 27th from 6:00 – 7:00 P.M., Julika von Stackelberg will offer one of CCE’s signature programs for parents called Discipline is NOT a Dirty Word as a six-week series. This interactive series is filled with resources about child development, emotional coaching, parenting tools and fun. The content of this program is geared towards parents and caregivers with children ages 2-12.
Additional programs will be announced as they become available. For more information, or to register for one of these programs, go to www.cceorangecounty.org/events.
